Opportunity
Due to rapid expansion, we are currently in need of a Senior HTML Developer/Content Publisher to join our Quantitative Research team.
The successful candidate’s duties will include the following:
- The new member will provide offshore support in HTML web content updates and content publishing to an onshore client team. The client is the digital marketing department of a large US-based global investment services firm. The Copal Amba team works closely with the client teams involved in Internet posting and content publishing.
The new member will be required to develop a firm grasp of the client’s web content-management platforms and other related software as well as HTML editing skills and also possess strong interpersonal skills.
- He/she will be responsible for undertaking client requests related to web content management, web page maintenance, data audits, marketing collateral updates, and related ad-hoc projects as well as for providing overall support to the existing team in expanding service bandwidth.
- Responsibilities also includemaintaining a consistent look and feel throughout web property, proofread web content, stay up to date on emerging web technologies through blogs, listservs, and events, and, work cooperatively with key team members, clients, and vendors.
- He/she should be able to work and produce output independently, handle initiatives end to end, and work effectively as a member of a multi-functional team handling a number of related initiatives.
- Additional responsibilities or projects may be assigned
Required background
- A minimum of two to three years’ prior work experience in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of HTML (hand code/notepad preferred) with basic skills in Adobe Photoshop
- In-depth knowledge on web-based tools (i.e. content management systems, web reporting tools, design tools, etc.)
- Experience working with popular content management systems and software
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience/knowledge in financial concepts and capital markets is a plus
- A strong work ethic, with good attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, andorganizational skills
- Passion, integrity, and energy
- The willingness to work shifts
