Job Title- STORES OFFICER

Our client is the fourth largest FMCG Company in India with Revenues of US$1 Billion & and experience of over 125

years. They operate in key consumer products categories like Hair Care, Oral Care, Health Care, Skin Care, and

Home Care & Foods. Located at the WTC, candidates will be working at the Kotadeniyawa Gampaha- Meerigama factory.

The company’s requirements are as follows-
Qualification and experience

 GCE Advance level in commerce subjects

 Certificate course in Material and Supply management from Recognize Institute

 Age – 30- 35 Years

 4 years’ Experience in manufacturing Organization

Skills

 Must have good command of the English language

 Must have good knowledge of food, beverage stock items/procedure

 Knowledge in SAP or Other ERP System

 Should be able to work with minimum supervision

Duties and Responsibilities

 To achieve the highest standard of sanitation and cleanliness in all storeroom areas, receiving

 Area (associated areas) and finish good Area

 To receive requisition orders from the various department heads, to prepare them for issuing

 And finally to issue them to the respective departments.

 To keep a tight control on stock movements and to have all items inventoried and issued

 Correctly at all times.

 To clean according to schedule and as necessity arises, all heavy duty equipment, including

 Inside refrigerators, ventilation filters.

 Able to direct and store all goods during loading to the right store room

 To inform the EXIM Officer of any expired/spoiled items or any

 Other kind of stock damages.

 To perform all duties assigned efficiently, technically correct, follow the company policies and regulations, requests of Superiors, adhere to procedures of the training manual

 To be aware and follow security/fire/safety procedures

 To done periodical stock count in order to maintain a proper reconciliation between physical and system quantities.

 To help to finance to do a proper stock valuation.
