Human Resources Executive – Payroll
Purpose of the role
To ensure all payroll related functions are carried out efficiently in accordance with company policies, procedures and work practices. To meet all statutory compliance requirements as dictated by various governing bodies.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
- End to end processing of company payrolls (monthly) including, OT, tax, superannuation, etc.
- Maintenance of payroll system and leave planning system
- Updating and maintaining payroll records.
- Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries.
- Monthly reports, journals and statutory returns such as Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation, Workers compensation etc.
- Provide cost analysis and wages information as required for budgetary purposes, tax, financial reports, annual & quarterly reports, etc.
Required qualifications & Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human resources Management or any other related fields
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in handling payroll system in a reputed organization
Required Skills and abilities:
- Demonstrated payroll processing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge, application and interpretation of acts, legislation and compliance requirements within HR and payroll.
- Ability to create, review and supply policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Numerical ability and data entry skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Customer service focus.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Presentation skills.
