Pattern Technologist – Hanwella.
Key Responsibilities;
You will be responsible to interpret given set of customer designs and construct patterns in order to facilitate the sample development process thereby meet customer requirements & provide correct patterns/information to production in line with development & production calendar
You would also be required to:
- Coordinate with garment technologist to assess individual proto-type designs and prepare first patterns to support the sample development process
- Facilitate other departments with relevant information and apply necessary changes to garment base on customer changes in order to ensure fit garments are according to the customer requirement & make sure approvals are in line with production calendar.
- Attend to fit meetings & internal fit sessions with PDT in order to identify correction & to make sure customer requirement are fulfilled.
- Prepare graded patterns for photo shoot/sales man & other sample programs & ratio makers
- Prepare graded patterns for size set samples & finalize grading for bulk production. Handover all related finish boards to production, quality & subcontractors with agreed time lines.
- Attend development meeting / technical meeting / size set meeting /shrinkage finalizing meeting / PP meeting /Process improvement meetings etc
- Update the tracking chart according to the production plan.
- Prepare, maintain documents & provide necessary information to other departments
Qualifications and Experience;
- Degree / Diploma in Textile and Apparel
- Minimum of three years experience in pattern making
- Exposure in Lectra system pattern making
- Good commination skills
