Opportunity

Owing to the rapid expansion of our business, we are looking for an individual to join our Marketing and Product Management team on a fixed-term contract basis in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Copal Amba offers a challenging and dynamic workplace, where teamwork and a passion for learning are emphasized. Successful candidates must be highly motivated, be willing to take ownership of their work, and be prepared to excel in an intense and high-pressure environment.

The role would involve the following:

  • Generating leads: Researching about potential clients for contact by Copal Amba’s sales team. This includes gathering information on individual companies, sectors, and geographic areas for an appropriate contact to be made by sales team
  • Conducting Internet-based research to collect the required information
  • Populating and updating spreadsheets with the required information
  • Assisting in maintaining databases and systems

Required Background:

  • Part/full qualification in CIM and/or a bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Skilled at carrying out Internet-based research
  • The ability to work well autonomously and as a member of a global team
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines
  • The ability to work UK shift times
