Job Description: Service Adviser

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Should have sound technical background and also worked as Service advisor. Dealership background will be an advantage
  • Receive Customer Vehicles for Service or Repair Jobs and raise repair orders in Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
  • Technically competent to understand the customer needs and requirements and accordingly raise Service Orders. Able to give technical advice or repair solutions to customers regarding their vehicle concerns.
  • Able to test-drive the customer vehicles and confirm vehicle concerns when necessary.
  • Able to provide a detailed explanation on jobs and technical justification for additional repairs with cost estimate and    obtain approval from customers to be carried out on vehicle.
  • Take initiative to resolve Customer Complaints and ensure customer has satisfied with the service offered.
  • Update customers with repair status and progress on his vehicle and ensure delivery of the vehicle at the promised time.
  • After service follow ups and ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Invoices on DMS and arrange delivery of vehicles.
  • Keep track of not available parts and ensure the customer is updated with the status of parts arrival

 

Skill Required:

  • Ensure that service reception operational procedures & guidelines are followed strictly.
  • Ensuring high Hyundai / Mazda Quality Service.
  • Determine customer’s needs and communicate these to the service shop to fix it right the first time and deliver the vehicle on time.
  • Identify potential service marketing opportunities.
  • Promote dealer service benefits to potential customers.

Job Description: Senior Service Advisor

            Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote service appointment system with the tools like advertising, signage, direct mailer & by educating walk-in-customers.
  • Ensure that you acknowledge customers with a polite greeting.
  • Able to provide a detailed explanation on jobs and technical justification for additional repairs with cost estimate and obtain approval from customers.
  • Write an accurate description of customers’ requests using the customers own words.
  • Inspect customer vehicle for pre-existing damage & additional work required during reception.
  • Obtain customers authorization by having the customer sign on the RO.
  • Identify the re-repair or waiting customers on the RO.

  • Ensure that all relevant documents are available for insurance paid jobs.
  • Prepare details of body and paint repair estimation and inform insurance company.
  • Use collision repair guide for estimate preparation and explain expected costs
  • Monitor the work in progress and keep customers informed of changes to cost and completion times.
  • Ensure the quality and cleanliness of the vehicle condition after body and paint repairs and washing.
  • Explain all insurance policy procedures, deductions, and settlement (depreciation, policy excess, salvage)
  • Issue quality control report and B&P guarantee card.

Job Description:  Training Instructor and Technical Support

Responsibilities and Skills Required:

  • Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for training and developing the new and existing technical staff and to enable them to perform repairs, maintenance and meet manufacturer standards.
  • You will also technically support the workshop on daily activities and technical assistance when necessary.
  • Additional responsibilities of supervising the workshop should be done upon requirement.
  • Analyze and identify training needs for each of the technical and non-technical staff.
