Full-Time TechOps Engineer
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive support for all applications under his/her purview
(internal/external users or other service partners)
Ensure overall proper product maintenance and all aspects of achieving agreed service levels
Ensure correct level of monitoring is in place and controls are implemented Facilitate required management information whenever required
Process compliance to all applicable processes. (change management, SLA management, Incident management, Access Management and all other processes as per prevailing process compliance matrix)
Act as the single point of contact for all critical systems under his/her purview • Review billing reports for analysts
Produce and analyze billing reports for Managed Service customers
Identifies problems/issues during billing cycles and solves
Works on complex activities such as identifying software or hardware problems that
impact on-going operations
Maintaining excellent relations with clients, suppliers and partners /operators
Working on a roster 24/7 basis to provide 360 degree customer support in billing operations
EXPERIENCE
• 2 years + of experience in telecom, at least 2 years of experience in billing
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree or equivalent in business/IT related field is preferred
DESIRED SKILLS
Computer savvy and proficient knowledge of Unix, sql and MS office package
Solid analytical and problem solving skills
Customer support and customer satisfaction experience required
Good verbal, written skills and interpersonal skills.
Presents information effectively
Good working knowledge of customer requirements
