Job Description

Core Competencies:

  • Enterprise mobile back-end development
  • Front-end web application development
  • Mobile development (native and hybrid applications)

 

Key Technologies:

  • Xamarin
  • NodeJS
  • MySQL
  • Non-relational database development (MongoDB, Amazon Dynamo DB)
  • Java (Java Core, Spring, JAX /RS, Jersey)
  • HTML5, Web Sockets development
  • Client side scripting (JavaScript, AngularJS, JQuery)
  • Web UI/UX design (Bootstrap, CSS)
  • Android/iOS Mobile Development (Java, Objective C, Ionic)
  • Amazon Services (Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, etc.)
  • Version control with Subversion and Git

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-time delivery
  • Propose designs and take part in design discussions
  • Provide technical leadership
  • Identify, highlight and manage project risks and issues
  • Support the onsite team on technical issues
  • Adhere to the Virtusa process and client regulatory requirements
  • Follow industry best practices for coding and ensure adherence to design standards and guidelines of the client and Virtusa
  • Conduct training sessions and TechTalks
  • Provide support and guidance in solving technical issues
  • Organize and participate in coding hackathons
  • Provide support in implementing pre-sales POCs and client demos
  • Engage in research and development activities

 

Qualifications:

  • A degree in IT from a recognized university
