Opportunity

Business Development supports Asset & Wealth Management in its sales initiatives focused on maintaining existing, and developing new business relationships, via the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for retail and institutional investors. During the RFP Process, Business Development coordinates and drafts responses to investor questionnaires (e.g. client request), surveys, etc that are investments and/or Company specific for products manufactured either in Europe, Americas, or Asia and distributed globally.

The role would involve

  • Preparing RFP’s and questionnaires for institutional, retail, HNW investors for Active, Passive, and Alternative investments.
  • Liaise with Sales, Portfolio Management, Product Specialists, Legal, Compliance, Risk and other departments as needed
  • Assist with quantitative and qualitative data requests from internal and external business partners
  • Coordinate data fact checking and proofing of all responses
  • Answer ad hoc requests
  • Maintain existing RFP content database – Proposal Software
  • Assist in streamlining RFP content via RFP content database
  • Prepare MIS metrics reporting
  • From time to time additional responsibilities or projects may be assigned.

Required Background

  • Knowledge and interest in Asset and Wealth Management industry and familiarity with industry jargon
  • Familiarity with financial services market
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to excel and proven capacity to work effectively with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience answering and editing RFP’s within the asset management industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication, writing, analytical and organization skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
  • Strong Team Player skills as well as working independently
  • Ability to work on several tasks at once in a fast paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs; e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of comfort in dealing with all levels of management

  • University Degree required
