Full-Time Post of Merchandiser – Bulk

Designation: Merchandiser – Bulk
Key Responsibilities; As a Merchandiser – Bulk you will be required to control the provision of overall merchandise to production as per agreed time lines, by negotiating, coordinating with internal, external stake holders, final buyer, in the objective of on time garment shipments.
You would also be required to
- Create sales order lines in system with customer order styles & communicating these to planning for delivery date Create Materials & have accurate information on SAP
- Follow up with purchasing assistant on raw material purchasing & negotiations with suppliers for best delivery dates Follow Up with the Customer T & A
- Follow up with raw material issuing departments till the goods reach production on agreed time lines
- Coordinate & communicate with production, quality teams while highlighting possible issues to relevant parties
- Monitor production end dates, following up on finished garments from production to stores, while highlighting potential delivery slides to business & customer
- Check on cases where material in-house dates are not in line with production plan & highlighting to business
Qualifications and Experience;
- Degree / Diploma in Marketing and 2 – 3 years’ work experience
- SAP Knowledge will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills and Negotiation skills
- Sound knowledge about the Apparel Development/Production Processes.
