Role Profile

  • Assist plant engineer to maintain all Plant and machinery in peak condition with a comprehensive and effective Preventive Maintenance program in place in line with QMS, ESH policies and GES
  • Assist plant engineer to provide services such as electricity, telephones, water supply, air conditioning, fire preventive etc.
  • Support Implementation of Corporate EHS Policies across the Organization
  • Provide engineering inputs to special projects carried out at the Plant
  • Administer and supervise all special projects carried out at site as per GSK EHS/QMS/GES  guidelines liaising with Snr. Manager engineering
  • Train staff on operation and maintenance of machinery and related subjects
  • Maintain relevant documentation for all special projects carried out at site
  • Ensure adherence of all third party contractors and suppliers engage in special projects to GSK EHS policies

Personal Profile

  • Should possess a Degree or Higher diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 7-10 years of Industrial experience preferably in food or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Should demonstrate sound knowledge on Engineering and EHS standards in large scale manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience on managing engineering projects relating to machinery installation, civil construction and electrical projects will be an added advantage
  • Should balance People and Task management skills
