The candidate should ideally;

• possess 5 years or more experience and exposure to litigation activities.
• possess Sinhala typing and proof reading skills.
• have the ability to prepare standard litigation forms (Motions, Declarations, Witness Lists etc) independently by extracting details from the pleadings and court productions.
• be familiar with different litigation documents such as plaints, answers, affidavits etc..
• be computer literate and possess a fair knowledge in office packages.
• have the ability to use the type writer.
• be willing to make court visits as and when required.
• have the ability to arrange/prepare court documents to be produced in court.
• have the ability to comply with deadlines and be willing to attend to the requests of a team of lawyers.
• a sound knowledge and comprehension of written English and Sinhala will be an added advantage.
