Role profile
Anti Bribery and Corruption (ABAC)
- Ensure interactions with third-parties are compliant with ABAC requirements
- Compliance to Third Party Framework – Support functions in conducting vendor due diligence, maintaining third party tracker and due diligence documents
- Ensuring compliance to laid down requirements under the framework
- Keep a track of all government interactions and ensure interactions are compliant with ABAC requirements
- Conduct investigations on violation of ABAC, conflict of interest, violation of company policies and procedures
- 100% training of employees on ABAC policy
Regulatory Compliance
- Ascertain the applicability of Statutory Acts and Corporate policies
- Establish strategy for effective monitoring of Regulatory and Corporate Governance activities for project and ultimate handover to site operations
Risk Governance
- Escalation of critical risk to functional leaders
- Support in implementation of Risk Management System at the site
- Contribute in identification of risk or framing of mitigation plan
General Compliance
- Assure project compliance with relevant company policies
- Contribute towards Internal Audits and ensure timely CAPA completion
- Support external inspections as necessary of facility prior to closure of Project
- Assure effective compliance handover and inspection readiness regime for handover of facility into commercial operation
- Establish effective personal network within compliance community (GMS compliance, Consumer ISC, to drive and support one set of standards
Personal Profile
- LL.B with knowledge & experience in interpreting laws and regulations, compliance programs and processes
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Food / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Environment in relevant field
- Experience in handling Anti bribery cases, audits and investigations, regulatory compliance will be an added advantage
- Chartered Accountant with experience at various levels in the organization will be an added advantage
- Ability to provide high degree of reliance and accountability to senior management
- Excellent ability to read & understand and write legal frameworks (laws, regulations, policies, decrees, SOPs)
- Excellent communication skill (both verbally and in writing. Ability to convey the intend of a legal framework and/or compliance initiative or program to employees with a non-legal background
- Excellent interpersonal skills; building trust and confidence, listening & influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills; ability to diagnose problems, resolve conflict, and develop practical solutions
- Excellent ability to manage sensitive confidential issues with complete discretion
