Full-Time Manager – Procurement
Job Description
Our Client a leading Printing & Packaging company, is seeking for a qualified and dynamic candidate with relevant experience in Procurement, to head their Procurement Division.
Duties involve
Dealing with all procurement and supply management related matters
Monitoring and evaluation of supplier’s performance
Allocating equal or non moving materials for jobs through costing & finance approvals
Handling the complete tender process and heading same.
Proactive decision on identification and implementation of procurement savings initiatives.
market awareness by analyzing supply chain and logistics
create compelling proposals and pricing for new businesses
Provide solution on logistics bottlenecks and work in a cross functional team
Be in charge of the safety systems
Ensure that all procurement procedure documentation are updated are in order.
Qualifications required
Degree or equivalent, or in Procurement / Logistics/Materials Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of work experience in managing stores / ware houses in a reputed firm.
Candidates with close proximity to Colombo, Kottawa & Pannipitiya would be given preference
