Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

The company seeks a suitable candidate to fill the position of Manager – Internal Audit. He/ She will be supporting the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to supervise and approve all claims related to discounts offered to retail trade, distributors, Sales staff target incentives, Distributor target incentives, Depot expenses, Depot RD sales confirmations, Distributor VAT payment reimbursements, Staff travel and field expenses and other expenses. Auditing of stock write offs, contract labour payments and any other expense or process where management feels necessary. Coordinating and arranging all Insurance covers to related operational functions of the company. The selected candidate will be based at the Ranala CCS Office.

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

Prepare detailed reports of all audit functions with receiving and turnaround deadlines for all audit claims.
Meet all deadlines for pre-agreed turnaround times.
All internal controls in Internal Audit areas to be 100% compliant.
Ensure no material Management letter points (Internal/external audit) with relation to the areas of lapses in internal controls.
Responsible to implement the discount bank system and ensure smooth functioning of the system with proper control systems.
Ensure all specified balance sheet GL accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis, prior to the closure of the books. Provide necessary information for best estimate, closure of accounts, quarterly and annual audit.
Required qualifications and skills:

Full qualification in Charted Accountancy with at least 5-8 years of experience in auditing function preferably in FMCG company.
Broad understanding of the financial behavior of a manufacturing company. Effective and efficient Process management in Manufacturing and Sales Environment.
Remuneration for the above position will be in accordance with the JKH Compensation and Benefits Policy.
