Profile

• Six years of IT work experience with five years focused on Oracle WebLogic administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
• Must be willing to work in a shift environment.
• Weekend on-call rotation will be required.

Skills/Technology Required

• Excellent knowledge of WebLogic administration in the Linux environment which includes installation, configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge in Firewalls/Hardware Load Balancing and general networking concepts. – should be simple case
• Excellent knowledge of the Linux environment with good understanding of Shell/Perl scripts.
• Knowledge of database concepts, PLSQL & Oracle SQL Developer will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE & JDK will be an added advantage.
• Application deployment and Validation Plan preparation and carrying out deployment.
• Application environment assessment and documentation.
• Excellent understanding of high level components and architecture.
• High level understanding of tools and technologies used in migration project.
• Strong communication and soft skills.
• Preferred requirements – Experience with Ticket Management software like Remedy
