Job Description
The ideal candidate should be willing to work on roster in a 24×7 operational environment monitoring a large internal and customer IT infrastructure base spread across the globe. Work includes Level 1 and Level 2 support, resolving issues, service requests and support preventive maintenance tasks. He/she will be required to deal with overseas clients directly and be able to travel overseas at short notice.
Job Requirements
- Degree in IT or equivalent with minimum 2 years of work experience in similar capacity is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 platforms is a must. MCSA or at least one exam leading to MCSA is essential.
- Good Exposure to Microsoft Server Systems (MSSQL, Exchange and IIS) is required.
- Good knowledge of networking (IP addressing, routing, switching). Certification in Cisco is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Linux based systems, HP/IBM server hardware, and IT Security is an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Exposure or knowledge on data center operations and support services is an added advantage.
