Software Engineer – Mobile Applications

The successful candidate will play an important role in the development, enhancement and maintenance of the LOLC group’s mobile application suite.

Applicants should demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in design/development of mobile based systems
  • At least 1 year working experience and good knowledge in Android SDK / tool kit
  • Experience in various IDEs such as Eclipse, Titanium etc
  • Experience in Data Modeling, Database Design and Development including ER Diagrams
  • Performance optimizing of the apps
  • Experience in using version control systems [SubVersion]
  • REST , SOAP services and integration
  • Experience in development on Google app engine, XML, SQLight, JSON

 

Requirements

  • 4 year degree in Information Technology or related area
  • Must be self-motivated and work with minimum supervision to achieve deadlines
  • Must possess excellent oral, written and presentational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in a team oriented development environment is a plus
  • Ability to grasp business and technical context
  • Must be able to apply engineering processes and standards to achieve high quality
