Senior/ Software Engineers – SharePoint
The Role
As a member of the SharePoint team, the SharePoint Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of Enterprise applications using SharePoint as the platform. He will play a key role in all phases of the solution delivery including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, development, deployment, as well as post deployment support and maintenance. The role requires technical knowledge and the ability to implement SharePoint solutions by mapping common customer business problems to end-to-end solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the pre sales team on technical discussions, presentations and requirement gathering sessions
- Rapid design and development of prototypes / POCs
- Responsible for solution design, development, deployment and maintenance using SharePoint as a platform (including SharePoint online)
- Work with the business analysts to prepare the test cases and perform application testing.
- Post implementation trouble shooting and fixing application defects in a timely manner.
- Application lifecycle management including documentation.
Requirements:
- Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or a diploma from a recognized institute in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology
- Sound knowledge and experience with .Net technologies
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SharePoint development. Sound knowledge and hands on experience with solution development in SharePoint 2013 App model.
- Any experience on SharePoint branding / UI designing or mobile application development would be a definite advantage.
- Experience in rapid development and effectively presenting prototypes to validate user requirements is desirable
