Job Description
LOLC Insurance Company Ltd, a new venture within the LOLC Group, is looking for dynamic and result oriented individuals who are willing to perform in a challenging and rewarding environment for the following position.
Officer / Senior Officer – Bancassurance
The Role
- To liaise and build relationships with respective bank officers to obtain leads and gain access to clients.
- Identify potential business opportunities and introduce appropriate insurance products.
- Achieve assigned business targets, submit necessary reports for management decision making.
- Cooperate with Branch Managers in servicing Bank customers with respect, maintaining confidentiality.
- Liaise with Underwriting & Operations department and maintain a smooth business operation.
- Follow up on outstanding premiums and recovery of premiums in a timely manner.
The Profile
- Passed G.C.E. Advance Level
- Flair for Sales / Marketing and willingness to meet deadlines / targets.
- Previous experience in the Insurance/ Financial Services Industry would be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills both Sinhala & English and ability to communicate in Tamil would be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in teams.
