Merchandiser – Development
As a Merchandiser – Development you will be required to identify & analyse the customer Bill of Material to gather & maintain accurate information in the system in order to achieve a successful garment production and also negotiate the best possible price or pricing option which would benefit both the customer & Linea Aqua.
You would also be required to
- Quote Garment FOB pricing to the customer
- Create Materials & have accurate information on SAP
- Create Bill of Materials
- Follow Up with the Customer T & A
- Request Product Development Center Fabric & Trim sample
- Customer Relationship management & Sourcing
- Have a complete package in terms of Packing approvals, Care Label / Hang Tag Stickers etc layouts, Trims cards, Thread Shades, before production and make sure to hand over a complete package to the Production team
Qualifications and Experience;
- Degree / Diploma in Marketing/Mathematics OR GCE – Advanced Level with 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar capacity
- SAP Knowledge/Costing knowledge will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills and Negotiation skills
- Sound knowledge about the Apparel Development/Production Processes.
