Job Profile

Provide strategic direction to enterprise level Information Technology Risk Management and Governance functions
Manage Information Security Administration including defining, developing, and validating baseline security configurations for operating systems, applications and networking & telecommunications equipment, including policy assessment and compliance tools, network security appliances, and host-based security systems
Assist Compliance, Audit, Legal and the Risk units with information security issues related to audit responses and risk management activities
Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System based on Industry Standards and Guidelines by implanting ISO 27000 series standards, PCIDSS guidelines, certifying against ISO 27001 / PCIDSS where applicable
Implement Baseline Security Standard for Information Security Management as required by the CBSL.
Research, recommend and implement Information Security related technologies, including developing business cases for security investments
Lead, guide and motivate IT Security staff

Prerequisites

7 years experience in IT out of which 3 years as an Assistant Manager / Manager level
Experience in a Bank/ Financial institution will be added advantage
IT related Degree or an equivalent professional qualification in IT from a recognized institution and IT security certification in CISA/ CISM/CISSP/ OSCP/OSCE/ GIAC
Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills.
Excellent project management & Leadership skills
Knowledge of banking, accounting, and varying business processes
