Opportunity
we are currently in need of Request For Proposal (RFP)Writers who will be involved in Consultant DB updates and Factsheets/Attrbution report generation to join our Quantitative Research team. Successful applicants will be designated Quantitative analyst or Junior analyst depending on their experience and/or level of skill/aptitude.
The role would involve:
- Updating consultant databses with fund performance data
- Creating Fund Factsheets and Attribution reports
- Liaise with Sales, Portfolio Management, Product Specialists, Legal, Compliance, Risk and other departments as needed
- Assist with RFP’s and questionnaires for institutional, retail, HNW investors for Active, Passive and Alternative investments.
- Assist with quantitative and qualitative data requests from internal and external business partners
- Coordinate data fact checking and proofing of all responses
- Answer ad hoc requests
- Maintain existing RFP content database – Proposal Software
- Assist in streamlining RFP content via RFP content database
- Prepare MIS metrics reporting
- From time to time additional responsibilities or projects may be assigned.
Required Background
- Knowledge and interest in the Capital Markets industry and familiarity with industry jargon
- Familiarity with financial services market mainly focusing on the Mutual Fund Management
- Strong work ethic, commitment to excel and proven capacity to work effectively with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
- 1 year of experience answering and editing RFP’s within the asset management industry is preferred.
- Strong communication, writing, analytical and organization skills.
- Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
- Strong Team Player skills as well as working independently
- Ability to work on several tasks at once in a fast paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs; e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High level of comfort in dealing with all levels of management
- University Degree required
