Consultant – Performance Testing

Position Summary:

• This role is responsible for driving the performance team for delivering quality and complete performance testing deliverables effectively.
• Working with multiple teams (globally distributed) in gathering requirements, applying previous performance testing experience to overcome foreseen technical issues, demonstrate on adapting to the company core values while improving  and applying organizational defined framework and methodologies are bind to this role model.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science

Responsibilities:

• Preparing performance test strategies and performance test plans after analyzing application architecture and Non Functional Requirements (NFR) for a successful performance testing engagement
• Recommend resolutions for any potential application performance issues after analyzing application architecture and the deployment architecture.
• Select best approach for application performance test and setup procedures to conduct the task by a team.
• Select the best candidate tools for the application performance test and verify the feasibility of it through a thorough analysis.
• Preparation of performance test scenarios, conducting the test and analyze the results after collating all monitoring results
• Identify performance impact due to any application changes/enhancements and accommodate changes if required after an impact analysis
• Conduct discussions with development team and with other stakeholders for requirement gathering, clarifications and status updates.
• Apply innovative approaches for effective delivery and to overcome any potential technical issues

Skills & Experience:

• Have actively engaged in performance testing for more than 4-5 years.
• Having more than 2 years’ experience in HP Loadrunner
• Experience on analyzing application NFR using architecture documents and usage statistics
• Experienced in conducting performance test for applications developed and hosted in different technologies.
• Exposure on application performance bottleneck analysis and recommend solutions to overcome identifies limitations
• Proven track records on successful team management in performance test deliveries
• Possess proven R&D experience to resolve technical issues
• Possess excellent communication skills and problem solving skills
• Knowing how to handle performance monitoring/diagnostic tools and analyzing statistics of them
