Our main requirements are Auto Technicians (preferred experience in German vehicles, i.e: BMW, Merc, Audi, Porsche, VW ..), Auto Painter and Auto Denter.
AUTO TECHNICIAN
Job Description
• Analyses work orders (Job Card) carefully to understand vehicles condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed to.
• Determines which parts and tools will be required for a given repair or service and ensures their availability.
• Use computer diagnostic software and prepare the diagnosis report and find out the faults, if any.
• Repair / overhaul electrical systems in automotive vehicle.
• Repair or replace defective wiring in ignition, lighting, air-conditioning, and safety control systems, using electrician’s hand tools.
• Rebuild electrical units
• Documents completed work orders to include the repairs conducted, the parts required and the labor involved.
Skills
• 6 to 10 years work experience as Auto Electrician (preferred from dealership service outlet).
• Experience in German Vehicles is a huge advantage, Gulf experience is an advantage as well.
• Ability to use diagnostic software for German vehicles (ICOM, Autologic, Star, PIWIS, VAS)
• Is technically competent with regard to, Installation, maintenance, diagnose faults and repair electrical wiring, fuses lamps, switches and computer base equipment in cars.
• Experience in servicing and repairing faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems such as electronic fuel injection and ignition, anti-lock braking, cruise control, automatic transmission.
• A/C service & repair.
• Must be well-organized and systematic in approaching this job.
• Must have a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to repair customers’ cars correctly.
• Related Diploma or certificate from Technical School and training institution.
• English language is a MUST.
PAINTER
Job Description
• Capable of performing complete painting process, i.e. (surface prep to polishing).
• Good knowledge in dry sanding process.
• Able to mix and tint paint as required.
• Able to understand technical painting terms.
• Able to adopt and apply clean and safe working environments.
• Usage of special tools and care of spray guns.
• Experienced in Water-based paint.
Skills
* PreviousPainting experience within a reputable dealership/workshop
* Ability to understand English as the medium of communication.
* Minimum 10 years experience in a major automotive manufacturer or dealership/distributorship as a Painter
* Minimum Qualification – S.S.C./Trade Certificate/Vocational Training.
*GCC experience preferred.
Auto Denter–
Job Description
• Repairs damage to metal body work on vehicles and forms replacement vehicle panels.
• Removes damaged panels and parts, or removes upholstery and accessories to gain access.
• Uses panel-beating hammers to remove dents.
• Straightens damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Fills depressions with plastic filler, and files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces.
• Repairs panels by welding on new sections.
• May assist vehicle body builders in construction or restoring custom-designed, vintage or other specialty vehicles.
• May spray-paint vehicles.
• May form panels using metal presses, guillotines and cutters, according to dimensional drawings.
Skills
• Must know how to spot and oxy weld; will use a hammer & dolly flipper to press metal.
• Must be experienced in smash work so that the panels line up & the doors close in alignment.
• Must be able to fill using their hands & be able to use a hydraulic porta-power
• Must be able to use hand tools and to use hydraulic systems competently
* Previous denting/body repair experience within a reputable dealership/workshop
* Ability to understand English as the medium of communication.
* Minimum 10years experience in a major automotive manufacturer or dealership/distributorship as a denter
* Minimum Qualification – S.S.C./Trade Certificate/Vocational Training.
*GCC experience preferred.
