Job Responsibilities;
- Act as the single point of contact for Motor related application support services
- Investigate & diagnose system related problems
- Liaise with the Software development staff/Vendor to arrive permanent solutions to the issues.
- Liaise with user department for UAT support.
- Liaise with Vendors for any software related matters, CR and follow up deliveries
- Ensuring the agreed service levels (SLA)
- Arranging staff training and awareness sessions when necessary.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
Qualifications & Experience;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from a recognized university OR
- Diploma in System Design at a recognized institute with 3 years related experience.
- Working knowledge in SQL 2008
- Operation and administration knowledge on AS/400 system.
- Experience in database management, administration, software development/Support environment.
- Investigation & diagnostic skills to identify the root causes.
- Competent IT literacy around Insurance applications and systems.
- Preferred to have ITIL V3 certification.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet deadlines and willing to learn new techniques and technologies.
- A positive and result-oriented individual with “can-do” attitude
- Excellent team player and a self-motivated individual who can achieve maximum productivity and control costs through effective use of new technologies with available resources.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
