Job Description

The main role of a QE Lead in an agile environment is to work with the team, product and the management to deliver products on time and with right quality. Should understand domain and technical aspects of the product. Possess knowledge on testing and automation methods, standards and best practices. Ensures quality early in the life cycle of product development with the optimum effort.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
• 2 years in Associate QA Lead Designation.
• Thorough knowledge on Software Quality Assurance and testing.
• Good understanding in Object oriented concepts and SQL Queries.
• Basic Knowledge in at least one software development tool (Java, C# etc)
• Support the Project team on Automation or Performance testing by creating and executing automation/performance scripts.
• Good knowledge in software development, the software development lifecycle and awareness of the industry trends.
• Should have good knowledge on Test Management, automation and performance tools and hands-on experience in using tools.
• Should have leadership, coordination, presentation, estimation and evaluation skills. Excellent knowledge and experience in practice Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent Analytical, Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Should have an aptitude in reconciling business requirements with testing requirements with help of other stakeholders.
• Should be able to understand requirements clearly & relationships of new requirements to existing functionality from Business perspective and impact to other sub-systems and work with other teams to mitigate any issues.
• Ability to understand requirement and technical reference documents, charts, diagrams without a doubt  and able to review and escalate any issues
• Responsible for implementing test scenarios and test cases based on designed provided and contribute test designing effort. Peer reviewing QA artifacts such as test cases and test scenarios to ensure coverage and guidelines
• Ability to understand, troubleshoot and differentiate defects and requirement without a doubt
• Effective communication with the team, leadership, internal and external customers covering all aspects of team.

• Support and involvement in achieving organizational goals and objectives.
