Job Description

Job Title: Senior Executive – Media and Advertising
Our client provides mobile service for Sri Lanka with pre-paid and postpaid packages. Includes ring
tones, wallpapers and animations. There requirements are as follows

Job Responsibilities-

  • Set up media plans in line with overall brand and communication strategy to reach campaign specific goals
  • Formulate and implement the media strategy
  • Liaise, coordinate and brief agency in a timely manner in the development of media plans
  • Liaise with the agency in effective media buying, planning, scheduling and efficient
    implementation.
  • Study and understand consumer behavior / read research and recommend / suggest products and services for Brand growth.
  • Continues tracking of competitor media activities and monitor products/service lines to recommend/suggest improvements.
  • Critically analyze media schedules and budgets to see the brand fit, cost efficiency and ability to meet set objectives
  • Develop/recommend innovative brand related activities in line with brand strategy to meet brand and campaign objectives
  • Liaise with cross functional teams and ensure campaign innovations are implemented in a timely manner and a customer-oriented manner
  • Set KPIs for the media agency and continuously track same and evolve in par with industry/ internal factors

Qualifications and skills

  • Should have a degree in Advertising or Communication from a recognized university
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in media , experience in advertising will be an added advantage
  • A resilient individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Should be self-motivated and willing to take up challenges
  • A versatile team player with the ability to manage projects with cross functional teams
  • Hands on experience in basic media negotiations, placements, scheduling and planning
  • Sound knowledge in MS office applications is a must
