We are currently searching for experienced & self motivated persons in the travel trade with the correct attitude and leadership qualities to take on the challenge immediately in the Europe market.
Ideal candidates for the above position should have a minimum of 02-03 years’ work experience in a Travel and Tourism Industry preferably in tourism. Qualifications in marketing from a recognized university or any other equal qualification in the same fields will be an added point. He / She should be GCE (A/L) qualified and possess a credit pass for English & Mathes at the GCE (O/L). They will report to Head of FIT Europe and should possess the following competencies.
- Possess a good working knowledge of tourism based operations (Including itinerary creations and quotations)
- Have the ability to effectively sell Sri Lanka as a holiday destination
- Be able to build & maintain strong business relationships with different types of customers / agents
- Be sportive and possess an outgoing character
- Have excellent command of English language
Should be methodical, trustworthy, confident and possess the ability to multitask. Excellent communication skills as well as interpersonal skills along with the ability to work long hours under pressure are essential attributes for the above positions. The applicant must possess a thorough working knowledge of basic IT skills.
