Engineers – Server Support

 

THE ROLE

  •          You will integrate, deploy enterprise class hardware and system software on HP Industry standard Servers, Blade servers, Storage Systems and other related hardware and software.
  •          You will be providing engineering support for enterprise class systems and software at customer sites as well as remotely.
  •          You will be coordinating and managing deployment projects, while working closely with Sales, Presales and Customer’s project teams

 

THE PROFILE

  •          The ideal candidate should be backed by an Engineering Degree / Engineering Diploma/ Professional Memberships in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical or IT disciplines.
  •          3-5 years of proven working experience in similar environments.
  •          Prior knowledge/experience on enterprise class servers & storage, industry standard servers, virtualization platforms will be an added advantage.
  •          Must have strong analytical and engineering skills while being sensitive to customer’s business requirements.
  •          Should be able deliver exceptional level of service above customer expectations while under pressure.
  •          Must be willing to work non-standard/extended hours and participate in 24hr roster operations based on customer’s demands.
  •          Must be an excellent team player, who values ethical and open working culture.
  •          Good communication, technical writing & documentation and project management skills would be a definite advantage.
  •          Must be a person who is willing to learn and master new skills in short period of time.
  •          Newly passed out students from engineering disciplines are encourage to apply, if willing to take a challenging carrier in an exceptional organization.
