Role and Responsibilities | Create automated scripts and services for Support tasks | |
Build and deploy releases across multiple environments | ||
Maintain the multiple production environments | ||
Service incident tickets | ||
Monitor multiple environments for alerts | ||
Will be responsible for Servicing Support Requests | ||
Development of work arounds and automation | ||
Infrastructure change coordination and implementation | ||
Preventive maintenance / pre-emptive activities on live and test environments | ||
Direct customer interaction | ||
Application health checks and reporting | ||
System security audits | ||
System security threat aversion and risk mitigation | ||
Service level analysis and review | ||
Service improvement planning & implementation | ||
Leading an entire application support team | ||
Functioning in a DevOps environment | ||
Close follow-up of 3L defect fixes and enhancements along with prioritization | ||
Professional negotiation and assertive communication with the client as well as other interacting teams | ||
On call and on desk inlife service management | ||
Experience | 4 – 6 years of experience in a similar capacity | |
Qualifications | Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science. Professional qualifications are advantageous. | |
Technical / Soft Skills | UNIX admin via Oracle Solaris or Linux (Suse, RedHat or Oracle Enterprise Linux). Admin knowledge of any other OS such as Windows 2008 Server is advantageous | |
Oracle Database – SQL, PL/SQL, administration, troubleshooting | ||
File maker Pro | ||
Understanding on Kenan Arbor applications | ||
Knowledge and exposure to Java technologies, web services such as SOAP and REST, Java Messaging System (JMS), etc. | ||
Application server administration & troubleshooting, e.g. WebLogic | ||
Shell & Perl Scripting | ||
Web server administration & troubleshooting, e.g. Sun Java Web Server, Apache HTTPD | ||
Web & enterprise applications & related technologies | ||
Troubleshooting via logs | ||
