Our client is one of the largest and finest insurance companies in the country.
Job Role
Reporting to the Zonal Manager/Cluster Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the development of life insurance business whilst ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of the respective cluster of branches/ assigned branch.
The person should be familiar with the concepts, practices and procedures of the insurance trade and will be responsible for achieving the set targets and other KPIs. He/she will also be involved in the recruitment and selection process of insurance advisors and field managers and will also be responsible for staff management and branch administration.
The Person
- At least 5 years experience in insurance selling with some exposure as a Branch Manager.
- Full/ part qualification in Sales/Marketing, Insurance/Business Management.
- Knowledge in life underwriting/claims will be an advantage.
- Written and spoken proficiency in both English & Sinhala/ Tamil is essential.
- Self-motivated team player with proven leadership skills.
- Should be a focused, methodical and results oriented individual with the ability to meet deadlines.
