Associate Manager – Process Quality

Experience:

•          Above 10 years of experience in IT.

Qualifications:

•          A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science.
•          Experience in a process, quality assurance or IT project management role.
•          Exposure to one or many – CMMI, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, Scrum or Statistical Analysis/PMP, CSQA, CISA/MBA or MSc will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for improving the delivery maturity of a large portfolio of global IT projects where the candidate will facilitate projects to follow software engineering best practices based on Virtusa’s proven Quality Management System (GIP – Global Innovation Process) to enable predictable, high-quality deliverables to our clients. .

•          Supporting the projects to tailor the Standard Processes to suit the Project Scope and Engagement Model.
•          Conduct Delivery Assurance activities like Checkpoint Reviews, Quality Gating, Alerts, Independent Risk Reporting and Audits on various projects.
•          Onboard the project teams by providing required Training on Process and Tools.
•          Initiating and executing process improvement initiatives on CMMI Level 5, Agile, Process Automation and number of other leading methodologies/frameworks that Virtusa is adopting.

•          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•          Should be able to work independently while handling multiple priorities.
