Human Resources – Executive

This opportunity is available in our manufacturing plant in Colombo. Key Tasks
- Liaise with production and other departments in order to determine the manpower requirements taking into account the loading plan, labour turnover, etc. so as to ensure operators and other staff are made available.
- Recruit and select workers so as to ensure the most suitable person is selected and production manpower requirements are met whilst complying to set compliance standards and procedures and continuously improving them in order to raise benchmark.
- Perform the personnel and administrative services for newly recruited worker level employees.
- Prepare the Induction Program (content / structure / implementation) for worker level employees and inform relevant departments to continuously revise and improve the program so as to ensure new recruits get accustomed to the organizational culture & expectations.
- Hand the new recruits over to the production teams whilst providing the basic details of the new recruits.
- Prepare information reports for management decision making as and when required.
- Maintain all necessary documents for compliance audits and HR audit purposes.
- Follow the internal promotion, promotion procedure and internal transfer procedure to ensure the smooth functioning of the recruitment process.
Personal Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Good knowledge of labour laws
- Age in the range of 30-35 years.
