Our Client-A leading Swedish IT company
Qualifications and experience
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Linux/Unix (Server OS administration – Set up debian and install software).
- PostgreSQL (Database management – Set up and maintenance of several databases and schemas).
- Jenkins (Continuous integration tool – Administration)
- Artifactory (Software repository administration)
- Java (Install and administrate)
- Tomcat (Web server – install and tweak when necessary)
- Apache (Web server – Install and administrate, set up SSL & proxies)
- Bitbucket / Git (Hosting service – Knowledge /some administration)
- Digital Ocean (Server hotel – administration, set up new virtual machines etc.)
- MQ or WMQ (Integration / Message que for external systems)
Job Role
· Keeping databases up to date
· Designing maintenance procedures and putting them into operation
· Ensuring that databases meet user requirements
· Managing database security/integrity and backup procedures
· Testing and modifying databases to ensure that they operate reliably
