Job Description

One of our prestigious clients who is an Adventure Travel Company is looking for a Bakery/Pastry Chef to work in their Colombo office immediately.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares a wide variety of goods such as cookies, pies, bread etc. Following traditional and modern recipes.
• Create new and exciting desserts to renew the menus and engage the interest of customers.
• Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.
• Check quality of material and condition of equipment and services used for cooking.
• Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Bakery/Pastry
• 3 to 4 years of Experience required
• Fluency in English

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Team Worker.
• Should work with minimum supervision.
