Full-Time Assistant Accountant – Colombo 3

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Assistant Accountant for our well reputed client company who is into Hospitals Chain in Colombo 3.

Salary: Rs. 45,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly group accounts for CSE publication purposes.
  • Passing Journal entries and maintenance of General ledger integrity.
  • Assisting in preparing the annual budget.
  • Checking cheque payment vouchers.
  • Monitoring fixed assets module.
  • Handling intercompany payments and receipts.
  • Intercompany accounts reconciliation.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Coordinating with the financial institutions.
  • Other duties given by the Management.

Key Requirements

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce from a recognized university.
  • Reading for ICSAL corporate level examinations.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Minimum 03 years work experience in a reputed audit firm with exposure in preparing consolidated accounts for publication purposes.
