Job Description
Our client who is a specializes software solutions provider , is looking for a dynamic and driven individual to drive their development team over the next hurdle as a Kickass Software architect. Job Profile
Design and Develop high end enterprise Grade software
Build enterprise grade applications on leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Create technical proposals based on customer requirements and responds to customer REPS
Work with different stakeholders including customers for successful delivery
Assist in overseeing software development process
Keep up to date with the latest software engineering trends and adopt them in software development
Produce solution design and technical specifications for software deliveries
Travel overseas on short notice for short durations to attend client meetings and technical workshops
Convert Customer requirements into technical solutions, document and work collaboratively with the
Engineering team and Solutions Architects till final delivery
Come up with high level estimates based on proposed solutions
Articulate the design and architectures to the stakeholders and convince
Mentor next level Technical leads to deliver high quality software
In addition, you are expected to undertake tasks outside of this job description and use your own initiative
to develop the role
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar discipline
At least 8 years of software development experience. (Preferably with development experience on Java, Go or Node.js).
Possess at least 3 years’ experience as a Software Architect and out of which at least 1 year
experience as a Cloud Architect
Have at least 1-year experience in designing enterprise grade cloud applications (AWS. And, GCP)
Expert knowledge in designing and building products, services and solutions
Deep understanding on micro services architecture and its application to create highly scalable, high throughput and low latency applications
Expert level knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes and cloud native application development
Ability to craft responses and design solutions to customer requirements
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
Effective relationship, collaboration skills and organizational skills
Embrace an Agile approach using SCRUM practices
Enjoy working with Linux environments
Good team player who supports colleagues and share knowledge
Have excellent Analytical and problem solving skills
