Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Senior PHP Software Engineer who is capable of handling all technical aspects of a project and develop cutting edge products / solutions to the highest quality adhering to best practices.

The selected candidate will be required to work independently and coordinate work with project managers in Australia & Sri Lanka.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provides Technical lead support and lead a team of developers
• Evaluating project scope and providing time estimations
• Participating in technical discussions and release sessions with clients.
• System Analysis and Specification
• System Architecture Design
• Introducing latest development technologies
• Contribute to Development Process and Project Management
• Sharing the time efficiently between Development and Tech Support

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years industry experience as a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer.
• Proficient in PHP/ PHP related frameworks and MySQL databases and database queries(Not less than 3 years experience in PHP).
• Proven skills on Fast Learning of new Business Architecture
• Proven skills on Understanding Newer Project environment and Coding standards
• Very good knowledge on HTML, XHTML, XML, Javascript, JQuery Framework, Ajax and CSS 2/3.
• Experience in CRM (Vtiger CRM/Sugar CRM or any other CRM) would be a definite advantage.
• Experience in working with open source CMS systems and prior experience in customizing Joomla and Magento commerce applications is an added advantage.
• Exposure to working with overseas clients is an advantage
• Can do attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and ability to provide cutting edge solutions
• Possess Excellent problem solving skills
