Technical Support Executive
Applicants should be under 26 years of age and have an appropriate tertiary qualification from a recognized institution (preferably a Diploma in Mechatronics and/or Electronics). Knowledge of Microsoft Windows is required. Selected candidates will assist Customer Engineers in Maintaining Diebold Nixdorf’s POS / Retail Solutions that include LCD Flat Screens, Customer / Operator Displays, Keyboards, Cash Drawers, Printers, Hand Held Scanners, Stationery Scanners etc. along with Vynamic POS application software.
Essential functions of this positon include:
Troubleshooting and repairing system failures on POS systems and Card Personalization Systems
Installation and commissioning of new systems
Traveling to customer sites to affect repairs/service
Serving as Emergency Call Out TSE for after hour responses
Completing all supporting documentation related to job completion and customer history
Interfacing with the Sales Dept, Help Desk personnel as well as customers
Successful candidates who perform to the Company’s expectations have a career path with promotional prospects to Group Managers and Department Manager. Candidates who seek a career and experience in fields such as Networking and Telecom should not apply.
Candidates living in the Greater Colombo area are preferred.
GENERAL
