SENIOR MANAGER PATTERN TECHNOLOGY

We are on the lookout for a Senior Manager Pattern Technology for our well reputed multi-international apparel client company located in Nugegoda.

Job Description

• Develop accurate sample & production patterns based on sketches
• Check patterns as received from the customer to ensure pattern is correct to size chart if required
• Check all documentation as received from the customer is correct
• Perform necessary corrections as a result of fitting notes/revisions
• Ability to troubleshoot potential production issues before samples are made, for both aesthetic & cost purposes
• Maintain all standards in regard to grading, construction, how-to-measure, and other procedures
• Actively collaborate with design department, other pattern makers, quality control staff, and product development department
• Complete assignments in a timely & accurate manner
• Issue 1^st Markers to factory
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager

Essential

• 3+ years of experience in similar position handling various types of garments and fabrics (Pattern experience, cut measure, etc.)
• Diploma for Basic Pattern Making and Grading ( paper not computer )
• Lectra CAD/ CAM Diploma
• Ability to stitch a garment beneficial to understanding garment fit.
• Should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and must be able to work well in a team setting
• Great organizational skills, self-motivation, and plenty of energy is essential
• Computer literacy is a must
• Proficiency in the English Language is essential
