Designation: System Support Executive

Key Responsibilities; As a System Support Executive you will be required to attend day to day user problems, following up technical faults with suppliers, and support end users on software and hardware issues. The technical landscape consists of over 700 PCs, blade servers, and other state of the art software systems and equipment.

You would also be required to:

  • Attend to Domain User A/C and File server administration.
  • Take daily backups of systems (Mail server, SAP server, Intranet Back end Server (SQL), Domain Controllers.
  • Coordinate with vendors/suppliers and follow up technical faults and request solutions in order to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor PABX and generate monthly departmental call bills
  • Attend to and solve day to day user problems (hardware/software) to ensure shorter downtime of the system (PC related /printers / hand scanners etc.)
  • Maintain and update system records, inventories of all hardware/software details etc. in order to facilitate operational and management decision making

Qualifications and Experience;

  • Degree in IT or equivalent qualification,
  • Industry standard qualifications – MCSA,CCNA
  • More than two years of experience in PC and server hardware support, Communications systems, in a CISCO networking environment ,
  • Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP communications and related services
  • Experience of Microsoft client and server operating systems
