Full-Time requirements for Auto Technicians , Auto Painter and Auto Denter

Job Description

  1. AUTO TECHNICIAN
  • Analyses work orders carefully to understand vehicles condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed to.
  • Determines which parts and tools will be required for a given repair or service and ensures their availability.
  • Use computer diagnostic software and prepare the diagnosis report and find out the faults, if any.
  • Repair / overhaul electrical systems in automotive vehicle.
  • Repair or replace defective wiring in ignition, lighting, air-conditioning, and safety control systems, using electrician’s hand tools and Rebuild electrical units.
  • Documents completed work orders to include the repairs conducted, the parts required and the labor involved.

Qualifications

  • Working experience as Auto Electrician 6 to 10 years.
  • Experience in German Vehicles is a huge advantage and also Gulf experience as well.
  • Ability to use diagnostic software for German vehicles (ICOM, Autologic, Star, PIWIS, VAS)
    • Is technically competent with regard to, Installation, maintenance, diagnose faults and repair electrical wiring, fuses lamps, switches and computer base equipment in cars.
    • Experience in servicing and repairing faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems such as electronic fuel injection and ignition, anti-lock braking, cruise control, automatic transmission.
  • Related Diploma or certificate from Technical School and training institution
  • Experience  in A/C service & repair.
  • Must be well-organized and systematic in approaching this job.
  • Must have a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to repair customers’ cars correctly.
  • Must have good knowledge of English Language.

2.PAINTER

  • Expert in Complete painting process &  Water-based paint.
  • Good knowledge in dry sanding process.
  • Able to mix and tint paint as required,  understand technical painting terms & adopt and apply clean and safe working environments.

Qualifications

  • Previous Painting experience within a reputable dealership/workshop
  • Ability to understand English as the medium of communication.
  • 10 years experience in a major automotive manufacturer or dealership/distributorship as a Painter
  • Minimum Qualification – S.S.C./Trade Certificate/Vocational Training and GCC experience preferred.

3.AUTO DENTER

  • Repairs damage to metal body work on vehicles and forms replacement vehicle panels.
    • Removes damaged panels and parts, or removes upholstery and accessories to gain access.
    • Uses panel-beating hammers to remove dents.
    • Straightens damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
    • Fills depressions with plastic filler, and files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces.
    • Repairs panels by welding on new sections.
    • May assist vehicle body builders in construction or restoring custom-designed, vintage or other specialty vehicles.
    • May spray-paint vehicles and form panels using metal presses, guillotines and cutters, according to dimensional drawings.

Qualifications

  • Must know how to spot and oxy weld; will use a hammer & dolly flipper to press metal.
  • Must be experienced in smash work so that the panels line up & the doors close in alignment
  • Must be able to fill using their hands & be able to use a hydraulic porta-power
  • Must be able to use hand tools and to use hydraulic systems competently
    -Previous denting/body repair experience within a reputable dealership/workshop
    -Ability to understand English as the medium of communication.
    -Minimum 10years experience in a major automotive manufacturer or      dealership/distributorship as a denter
  • Minimum Qualification – S.S.C./Trade Certificate/Vocational Training and GCC experience preferred.
