About the job

Job Purpose:  Working alongside the Wall Street English Business Operations, the primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate technology readiness activities for the rollout of Wall Street English’s New Student Experience digital product across the business’ Corporate and Franchise locations. Guaranteeing the success of the roll out based on company requirements, while meeting local needs.

 

Scope: The role will work closely with the Wall Street English Business Operations Team, In-Country Technology Teams, NSE Product Team and Help/Service Desk to coordinate, define, train and support technology readiness and deployment activities across 28 countries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with:
    • Pearson Technology teams on the current and future NSE Technology requirements along with any future enhancements to Wall Street English systems along with documenting and communicating new features and enhancements or changes to Wall Street English systems to the WSE Business Operations Team and territories.
    • Help/Service Desk to support with post migration communications and summaries to the migrated territory.
  • Define and document the Pearson Technology strategy for:
    • Student and Center Level Support
    • Territory Support
    • International/Product Support
  • Build and maintain a document repository with:
    • All required NSE technology documentation
    • All NSE User Guides as needed for technology.
  • Support Territories with:
    • Working as an advocate for territories.
    • Inventory of key technology inventory and readiness.
    • Technology setup and planning including planning with territory as well as setup tasks.
    • Technology planning and communications for local systems.
    • System readiness confirmation after setup.
    • Testing support pre-migration.
      • Certify installations
    • Migration support night-of and day-after migration.
      • Document and update as needed the migration timeline from start to finish, who is involved and what steps need to be taken for a successful migration.
      • Support troubleshooting issues before, during and after migration.
    • Present and explain bug fixes and enhancements
    • Post-migration check-ins.
  • Deliver/support with training on:
    • Product Super User (In Center/Territory).
    • Technology Floor Walker (In Center/Territory).

 

 About you

Essential skills, qualifications and experience:

 

  1. Minimum 5 years in IT roles supporting or leading large scale technology deployment projects.
  2. Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
  3. Ability to work across time zones and cultures as needed for implementation.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work as part of many teams as well as independently.
  5. Setting priorities and guiding local teams to achieve deadlines within the timeframe of a project plan.
  6. Must have customer facing experience in a large scale Enterprise environment

 

Desirable skills, qualifications and experience:

 

  1. Project Management experience
  2. Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills for handling multiple and conflicting activities
  3. Strong focus on customer service at all levels.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills required to meet the success of the launch of NSE across the wider Wall Street English Network.
  5. Experience in working with technology and implementation in remote areas.
