Skills and Experience
Technical
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
4+ years’ experience in a Java software development role and strong understanding modern Java libraries & tools.
Strong knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns.
Experience in Spring and Hibernate.
Familiar with microservice architectures.
Solid experience in relational databases (MySQL) and No-SQL (MongoDB).
Strong DeVos with AWS skills will be an added advantage.
Experience in deployment frameworks and tools in a continuous integration environment.
Experience with advanced Angular, CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap, jQuery HTTP/RESTful APIs integration
Work experience in GIT, Jira project management, and bug tracking tool.
Understanding of what is required to build efficient, scalable, decoupled, testable and maintainable code.
Experience in working in an agile environment (e.g. Scrum or Kanban).
