Job Description
We are seeking for a self starter who possesses excellent communication and analytical skills to our team based in our regional office in Colombo. The individual should be sharp, service oriented, a team player and have the ability to take the initiative in driving projects forward.
Technically you will be capable of:
Planning & executing functional/System testing, regression testing, performance testing and user acceptance testing.
Web Sevices/Integration development using SOAP and REST technologies
Automating all possible types of QA tests with the desire & the drive to do so
Using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Karma in an advanced test Automation context.
Understanding and capturing business models, operating methodologies in detail to define desired outcomes and provide valued inputs to developers.
Liaising directly with key stakeholders of the projects to understand and convey expectations accurately
Leading the development maintenance and execution of testing in line with industry best practices
Assisting with requirements gathering and develop test cases that satisfy the requirements
Managing and maintaining product Wikis and test documentations (Test Plans, Test Case Authoring and Test Case Execution)
Keeping up to date with latest technology platforms, trends, relevant technology stacks and recommend adoption path.
Ensure accuracy & high level attention to detail when completing all tasks
You will have the Following Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Diploma) in a related IT discipline
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a QA role
An excellent standard of written and spoken English
Exposure to international clients and excellent customer service skills
Experience in integration test automation in CI/CD workflow will be highly desirable
