Full-Time Looking for Head of Finance -Myanmar

Job Description

Job Profile

  • Supervision of the preparation of books of accounts for the company and to ensure proper controls are in place to carry out GL reconciliations and Bank reconciliations on a timely manner.
  • Overall responsibility for the cash management and payment process.
  • Maintain finance processes in line with LOLC Policies, Myanmar requirements and overall strategy of the company.
  • Monitor and application of delegated authority limits for the company.
  • Design and align internal controls on all financial processes and monitor deviations to take corrective actions.
  • Preparation of financial statements and MI to the Board of Directors, Regulators, etc.
  • Financial forecasting and strategic planning process/reforecasting
  • Facilitating to the Annual Audit.
  • Ensure that proper and timely submission of reports to the funding agencies.
  • Training and development of finance staff.
  • Ensuring that all branch finance operations are carried out in line with overall policies of the company and regular visits to branches.
  • Management of taxation for the company.
  • Handling company payroll and company secretarial processes.

Personal & Skills Profile

  • Should possess ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
  • A finance related degree from a reputed university together with the finance qualification will be considered favorably.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ post qualifying experience.
  • Age below 40 years.
  • Should possess good communication skills.

The selected candidate will be expected to live in Myanmar for a period of 2 years or longer if contract is extended by the company on a mutually agreed basis.
