Job Description
Executive – Transport Our Client a leading global group of energy and petrochemicals, is seeking for a qualified and dynamic candidate with relevant experience in Distribution and Transport management. Duties involve – distribution, stock control, warehousing and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of the distribution.
– Ensure a high standard and efficient level is maintained with regard to distribution in keeping with the all compliances applicable
– Ensure that all required safety standards, guidelines are followed pertaining to distribution and transport.
– Managing contracts, fleet management in a cost efficient manner – monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods and vehicle fleet movement
– allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs;
– implementing health and safety procedures
– Manage the necessary documentation and keep it in an updated manner for the efficient, cost-effective Qualifications required
– Diploma in Logistics
– Minimum 5 years of work experience in managing transportation / distribution in a reputed firm.
