Designation: Executive – Quality Assurance
Key Responsibilities; As an Executive – Quality Assurance you will be responsible to monitor and maintain all quality functions of assigned modules in order to ensure all the processes and product are in the accepted standards complying with customer requirement by fulfilling the company mission and objectives.
You would also be required to:
- Carry out surveys by means of individual audits and observation of system output to identify quality issues in assigned modules / provide solutions and get corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
- Ensure sound proactive participation in pre-production meetings and effective involvement in QCO activities, line feedings, standardizing and approving mock ups of every operation, first bulk review and bulk garment review through disseminating information of expected quality standards and suggesting methods to assure the quality of product.
- Direct In line QCs in order to ensure smooth operations of respective functions whilst improving their individual and team performance, by monitoring performance parameters / achieving set targets.
- Guide AQL auditors by setting standards to make decisions / ensure customer requirements and conformity of goods/ follow up third party final inspections by maintaining a good relationship with customer representative.
- Responsible for the quality concerned with samples such as gold seals and Tops, through directing QCs, providing information and guide lines, checking measurement concerning the samples picked, while adhering to customer procedures./ Ensure the following up of additional testing requirements of product, testing sample submission and obtaining of results prior to deliveries.
- Design and conduct training and skill development programmes to AQL auditors, In line QCs, End line checkers and module packers in order to enhance skill, knowledge and capability of work / Educate and guide machine operators to perform in preventive measures before needle point
Qualifications and Experience;
- Degree / Diploma on Textile or related to clothing. Quality certificates obtain from CITI / Brandix College
- 3 years experience in similar capacity
- Energetic / result oriented / honest / willing to take challenges / well discipline will be the main characteristics.
- Knowledge in process improvements & training & development will be an added advantage.
