Full-Time Finance Manager
Job Description
Our Client is a Leading is a non-profit organization with its headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor degree in Business administration, Commerce or Economics with Professional qualifications in Financial Management
- At least 3 years minimum experience in INGO working in emergency or rehabilitation projects
- Professional working language in English and Sinhala, Tamil preferred
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lanka applicable laws (especially fiscal and accounting)
Job Role
- Prepare monthly reports for submission to Country Representative and Headquarters
- Prepare monthly Budget Vs actual (BVA) report for sharing with project coordinators and other relevant staffs
- Prepare comprehensive reports according to Government requirements (NGO Secretariat report – quarterly)
- Ensure that taxes and other payments are made in a timely manner to all government and other agencies and attend on all bank related issues
- Follow monitoring mechanism of project/s in accordance to approved budget category and budget lines
